Reliable transmission shops?
I've run into an issue recently where my trans, after about 15-20 mins of run time, slips when it should shift into overdrive. This has become a real PITA as you could imagine... I'm certain it's a line/solenoid issue but with 210k+ miles on the trans, I'm sure it's time for a rebuild..
Can anyone steer me in the right direction to a good trans shop that won't cost me a fortune?
It's a 97 XJ Sport 4.0l if that helps, also I'm located in Maricopa but work in Chandler. Thanks in advance for any info!

Thank you, Tim. I will try to give Brian a call ASAP. This trans issue is really getting on my nerves.

Oh I know the feeling. My old truck did the same thing on the freeway. The rpms would jump up 500 rpm for no reason. I replaced every sensor and solenoid on it and it never got fixed. Turned out to be the TC but I was trying to trade it in so I never spent the money on the new TC and just lived with it.

I'm gonna have to sell a kidney to be able to afford this.
That being said, anyone want to buy a kidney?
