Re: The progression of LuLu
Ok, that's pretty slick mounting them in the stock housing like that!

Re: The progression of LuLu
Turned my factory fender flares into flat flares. Some tape, a tape measure, a pencil, a dremel and a file was all it took.
I also ordered some black door edge trim to finish it off and give it a cleaner look, along with some 1" amber flush mount motorcycle turn signals, to mount underneath the front flares. They should be here in a couple days.

Re: The progression of LuLu
Got my door edge trim and mini blinkers in the mail yesterday. I love the way the flares look now!
Here's the turn signals I installed under the flares.

Re: The progression of LuLu
Tax return is in!! I just ordered an Aussie locker, Riddler diff cover, Currie steering box skid and Moog tie rod for a ZJ (direct bolt on upgrade for TJ). Thank you Uncle Sam!
Edit: Apparently, Currie hasn't made that steering box skid in over seven years. So I asked the sales rep who called me why it's still on the website. He said, "It's like something you find in your junk drawer. We didn't even know it was there, nobody has ordered it in a REALLY long time."
So I just ordered a Skid Row steering box skid instead.

Re: The progression of LuLu
I'm in the process right now of painting my upper doors. Using flat black Rustoleum Fabric & Vinyl. Getting prepared for my new top (Rampage frameless), which should be arriving tomorrow.
Before, on the left, and after, on the right.
first one done
All done. From khaki to black.
I'll post more pics of them on the Jeep tomorrow when I have daylight.

I took a break from putting my bike together and installed my Skid Row Offroad steering box skid. Very easy to install. Only took about 10 minutes.

Re: The progression of LuLu
I still have it, just haven't tried using both together yet.
ETA: I just realized you were probably referring to the cargo rack cage thing. It's hanging from my garage ceiling. I can't decide if I want to run with it all the time or not.

Thanks Tim! It's kinda become an obsession. I think once my locker is installed, I'm almost done......for now.

Re: The progression of LuLu
With big thanks to Toolbox, the front end is now locked. We installed an Aussie Locker in the Dana 30.
Added the Riddler diff cover and a Moog tie rod from a ZJ.
Ryan also did a little weld repair on my lower control arm mount.

Re: The progression of LuLu
Did a little more garage time today. Installed adjustable upper and lower rear control arms. One step closer to doing the SYE/ CV driveshaft upgrade. The lowers are TeraFlex and the uppers are Rubicon Express.
